Wood & Sons Premium Wood Pellets

Efficient heating and
hassle-free maintenance

Crafted in Maine with 100% Eastern White Pine, these pellets provide efficient heating, minimal maintenance, and reliable performance you can count on all season long.

Excellent Heat Output 🔥

BTU Value: ~8,700 BTU/lb

Higher BTUs mean more heat per pound. With 8,700 BTUs, these pellets keep your home warmer, faster—without burning through your stash too quickly. You get more warmth for your money.

Low ash creation

Ash Content: 0.25% to 0.5%

Low ash means less mess. These pellets leave behind minimal residue, making cleanup quick and keeping your stove running efficiently. Spend less time vacuuming and more time enjoying the fire.

Clean, Efficient Burn

Moisture Content: ~5.0%

Dry pellets burn hotter and cleaner. With moisture around just 5%, you’ll enjoy consistent flames, reduced clogs, and better stove performance—all while using less fuel.

Smooth operation

Pellet Length: ¼–½ inch; Fines <0.5%

Uniform size and minimal dust (“fines”) means these pellets feed smoothly through your stove’s auger system. That equals fewer jams, better combustion, and peace of mind.

Consistent Shape, Less Crumbling

Durability: >96.5%

High durability means pellets stay intact during transport and storage. You’ll get solid, full-length pellets—not a bag of crumbs—resulting in cleaner burns and less waste.

Frequently Asked Questions

We are here to serve YOU! We aim to please, so please reach out if you have any other questions.

It depends on your home’s size, insulation, and how much you rely on your pellet stove for heat. Most New Hampshire homeowners burn 3 to 6 tonsper season. We’re happy to help you estimate your usage so you can order the right amount without running out mid-season.

The best time is spring or summer, when supply is high, demand is lower, and you can avoid winter delivery delays. Ordering early also ensures you lock in your supply before the first frost.

Keep pellets dry, covered, and off the ground to prevent moisture damage. A garage, shed, or covered porch is ideal. If stored properly, pellets can last for years without losing quality.

We don’t service pellet stoves ourselves, but we proudly recommend trusted local pros like The Chimney Man and Lakes Region Chimney Pro for cleaning, inspections, and repairs. Regular maintenance keeps your stove safe and running efficiently.

Premium pellets, like Wood & Sons, have higher BTUs, lower ash, and lower moisture, which means more heat, less stove cleaning, and longer life for your stove. Bargain pellets might save you money upfront, but you’ll burn more, clean more often, and may face more stove repairs.

We can make off-road deliveries with special arrangements! Our delivery vehicles are large and heavy, so if you need us to deliver across grass, fields, or other off-road areas, we may be able to accommodate you with a signed waiver. The waiver releases us from liability in case our vehicle gets stuck or causes any damage to your property.

We want to serve all our customers while being upfront about the risks involved—just give us a callto discuss your specific delivery needs and we’ll work out the details together.
